How Mirafit Works

Mirafit, containing Mirafit fbcx fibre, comes in tablet form and is intended for use in weight maintenance. When taken within one hour of consuming a meal containing a minimum amount of fat, (18 – 20 grams of fat), Mirafit’s Mirafit fbcx fibre binds to dietary fat (triglycerides) in the stomach. Lipase is the digestive enzyme that breaks down fat into smaller molecules so that the body can absorb it. When fat is bound to Mirafit fbcx, large complexes are formed and lipase is unable to act upon the fat to produce molecules small enough to absorb. The Mirafit fbcx-fat complex then passes through the digestive tract unabsorbed.
