A clinical trial was recently completed at the University of California, Davis, which involved overweight, but not obese non-diabetic and otherwise healthy individuals. This investigation was intended to confirm the effects of Mirafit fbcx on weight and blood lipid level management as they have been implicated in the development and pathogenesis of numerous disease states, including Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Twenty-nine healthy adults (age: 43.9±13.3 yrs, 8 males) with a stable body weight in the previous month participated in this study. The mean BMI was 27.1 ±2.1kg/m2 at the beginning of this double-blind, one-month crossover study.
Data showed that significantly more weight was lost during the active phase as compared to the placebo phase of the study. Blood cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and the atherogenic Apolipoprotein B levels were significantly reduced during the active phase while HDL (good) cholesterol levels remained unchanged. Participants with high triglyceride levels reduced their blood cholesterol levels more than twice as much relative to participants with normal triglyceride levels. In addition, the higher the cholesterol levels, the greater the cholesterol reduction in the active phase. Blood insulin levels were significantly reduced in the active phase as compared to those in the placebo phase, which is consistent with a reduced risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Unlike any other studied weight loss product, the participants were not put on a low-fat or low-calorie diet.
Q
I just paid twice as much for another product, so it must be twice as good as Mirafit, right?
A
It is not likely to be as good as Mirafit. In fact, whether you pay twice or half as much as you would for Mirafit, it is very unlikely that you will be satisfied with the results. However, if you send us the product name and the list of ingredients from the side of the bottle, we will do our best to find the literature that will tell us what that product will and will not do. Then we will send you the information complete with links to the scientific literature so that you can judge for yourself.
Q
Why should I believe you? I've heard that the medical community conspires to hide the truth from the public.
A
In order for us or anybody else in the medical/scientific community to publish an article in a reputable journal, the manuscript must first be subjected to what is referred to as the "peer review process.” This requires at least two, and usually more, experts read the manuscript checking for both errors and merit. Once the reviewers accept the manuscript, which usually requires at least one revision, the manuscript is published at the discretion of the editor. This process can easily take a year from start to finish. Once published it is available to everybody to read and critique. If an article has been out for a year or two and nobody has criticized its merit, the chances are pretty good that you can believe what the authors had to say.
Q
Can I take too much Mirafit?
A
We recommend two tablets (two grams) per fat-containing meal or six tablets per day. It is essential that you have some fat in your diet. If you do not take it with fat or if you take too much Mirafit, you will very likely feel bloated and produce excess gas.
Q
What if I don't eat much fat in one of my meals?
A
If you eat one low-fat meal per day, you should divide your six tablets per day between your other two meals. In order to remove 54 grams of fat from your diet, the equivalent of about 500 kilocalories, you need to take the six tablets per day.
Q
So can I lose 74 pounds overnight while eating a pizza in my sleep with Mirafit?
A
No. By eating a healthy diet, maintaining your current level of exercise and taking six tablets per day – two tablets per fat-containing meal – you may lose 1-1½ pounds per week. However, individual results may vary. We have had customers lose 60 pounds in three months. Conversely, we have had customers gain three pounds in the first week because they started consuming more calories than Mirafit was removing. Mirafit is not a license to overeat.
Q
I am taking medication for my high blood pressure. Is it safe to take Mirafit?
A
As you lose weight, your blood pressure may decrease. Because you are likely to lose weight while taking Mirafit, your blood pressure is likely to decrease, so you should monitor it on a regular basis.
Q
I am taking medication for my high cholesterol. Is it safe to take Mirafit?
A
From all of our initial data, it would appear that Mirafit significantly decreases elevated blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and that these decreases are in addition to whatever you have accomplished with lipid-lowering medication.
